She strives to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, emotions, and experiences at their own pace.
Dr. Kao believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful change. She works collaboratively with clients to build trust, respect, and understanding while helping them develop healthier coping skills and greater self-awareness. Throughout the therapy process, her goal is to help clients uncover underlying patterns that may be holding them back, gain clarity and insight, and feel empowered to make lasting, positive changes in their lives.
“Whether it be burnout, multicultural identity, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, addiction, loneliness, or unhealthy relationships, one of the goals throughout the journey of therapy is to help you identify the underlying issues and negative patterns that are holding you back. We will work together to find clarity and gain insight into what is needed to make meaningful changes to your life. Let's have you live the life you want.”
